Antique Tower Clocks

The mechanisms of antique tower clocks are part of a community’s historical heritage and should be preserved. Such mechanical clocks, when valuable, should stay in operation.

However, the current requirements differ from those in the past. That is why we have developed Chronos, a user-friendly automatic system to ensure precision of time through satellite synchronisation, automatic rewinding and automatic Daylight Saving Time adjustment.

The old clock remains 100% unaltered. Its pendulum is controlled by means of a magnetic field and the rewinding of the clock drum is gently powered by stepper motors with microprocessor feedback control. Thus, the precious clock mechanism is preserved for the future.
